"I just wanted to thank you guys for making our '02 bear hunt such great experience! Jenny and I enjoyed 100% opportunity, including some real brutes ("Brimstone" was the third bear over 300lbs by my stand) and some color phase bears that should be very interesting by next year! Jenny, Don and I saw multiple bears each day we hunted. Your attention to detail in assuring a safe, rewarding and memorable hunt for our party certainly did not go unnoticed. You guys really did your homework in finding great sites, scouting, baiting and stand placement based on our choice of weapon in use for the hunt. I'd also like to thank the girls for the wonderful meals they provided for us during our stay. The food was excellent! Also, thanks again for finding a veterinarian (and making the appointment) for us when our dog suddenly needed medical attention during our vacation. "You will have a great time at Caliper Lake on your bear hunt! First of all you will see many bears (I saw twelve bears before I took one). I had my wife in a nearby stand and she really enjoyed the experience. We had bears within 3 yards of us at one time. When I did kill my bear it was a 12 yard shot with my bow. Had I been hunting with a gun I would have had many shots before I actually took the shot with my bow! Besides the great hunting you will really enjoy the fantastic food from the grill. The girls are all great cooks so plan on gaining a few pounds during your week there. Both David and Darryl are avid hunters so they know what hunters like you and I expect from a good hunt and they will accommodate you in any way they can. "August 2004 was my first trip to Larsson's Camp.  Two of my friends had hunted there in 2003 and had such a good time that we all decided to come back together.  On the second afternoon of my hunt I took a very nice 383 lb. black bear.  Its hide was in perfect shape.  The Dutka's run a very good camp (lodge).  I was impressed with the quality care given to the hide and bear meat.  The cabins are nice, and the food is excellent.  The girls are great cooks!  I had a very good hunt, and after I got my bear I filmed and took pictures of other bears, and caught some Northern Pike on Caliper Lake.  3 fish fed 10 people!  I will be coming back in 2005 for another fun time at Larsson's Camp."   TONY BLACK, AUGUST 2004.
